MIDI no VLC

sudo apt install fluidsynth vlc-plugin-fluidsynth fluid-soundfont-gm

edite o arquivo vlcrc
vim ~/.config/vlc/vlcrc

adicione as linhas

[fluidsynth] # FluidSynth MIDI synthesizer

# Sound fonts (string)
soundfont=/usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2

salve

abra o VLC
vá em Ferramentas na aba Interface em Exibir configurações marque Detalhado

vá em Entrada / Codificadores
Codificadores de Áudio
clique em Fluidsynth
em Fontes de som coloque o caminhoa do Fluidsynth
/usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2

Salve
